How it works : HeritagePEOPLE can set up their own on-line account which builds a database of area Musicians, Performers, Craftspeople, Folklorists, Poets, and Artists. Membership or inclusion in the HeritagePEOPLE directory can be set up so new members are reviewed and approved by administrators.

Another version of HeritagePEOPLE is available that allows previously approved members to logon to their account and add records to promote (or even sell) their crafts, art, stories, or music.
