HeritageEXPLORER is a cost effective and easy to use web-based tool provides the ability to collect, inventory, preserve, interpret, display, and distribute information about the cultural and historical resources from ANY LOCATION, AT ANY TIME. All you need is access to the web to add, edit, view, print, or share information about your heritage attractions or events with your Heritage Area partners and the public via your web site.
Information on your cultural heritage tourism assets are entered ONCE into the online database system. You can then deploy the information publically via your website in various ways. For example: A museum in your community may also be a major attraction, a historic site, and of course, a cultural site. . With HeritageEXPLORER, the museum would be inventoried in one database but can be listed in multiple categories based on its specific attributes.
